1. Be sure to begin with a clean dry skin followed by moisturizing. Wait for the moisturizer to be absorbed completely which is usually within 5-10 minutes.
2. Gently tap a small amount of minerals into the lid of the jar. Using a Kabuki brush swirl the brush around the lid until the minerals are completely infused into the brush. Tap brush on the side of the lid to remove any excess powder.
3. Starting at the outside of your face, lightly apply the foundation working inwards towards the eyes and nose in a circular motion. Continue to re-apply until you have achieved your desired coverage. NOTE: Remember to start with a light application and than you can build coverage.
Concealer: A little goes a long way and apply also in light layers and than build coverage as necessary. With a concealer brush, lightly pat the powder on. You can apply before or after foundation application and can also be applied wet with water or mixed with moisturizer but this method is done prior to applying your foundation. If you are not applying foundation over the concealer the color will sink in and blend in with your skin tone. You can also apply the mineral veil over the foundation if you just want a light coverage and can be used as an oil absorber with no additional coverage.
Our concealer can also be used as an eyeshadow base so that the eyeshadow can last longer. Just apply all over the eye with an eyeshadow brush and proceed your normal eyeshadow application.
Blushes:
Using your blush brush, simply
swirl and tap in your lid and apply to cheeks. Blush can be used to contour your face such as, brow, nose, and jaw line.
Bronzers:
Tap some powder in your lid, swirl and tap your brush, and apply lightly to forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. You can also use for contouring the jaw line and parts of brow. In the winter you can also use your tan foundation as a light bronzer and apply the bronzer of your choice for a bit of shimmer and a more dramatic and sophisticated look.
Multi-Use Colors (Shimmers and Mattes)
Eyeshadow:
Use
a small brush to apply shadow over your eye lids,
or in the creases, for contouring effect. Apply more than one color if
desired. Cover whole lid from lash line to eyebrow, then add another
color to lid (lighter color), then one in the crease of the eye lid
first using color as a highlight on brow bone blend color just where
the meet. Mix matte and shimmer color together. Apply wet for a more
dramatic effect (and will also stay on longer).
Eyeliner:
All of our eyeshadows can be used as eyeliners, so no need to purchase seperately and can
be applied wet or dry. Tap some powder in to the lid, dip eyeliner
brush in water and mix with powder to achieve a creamy consistency then
apply to eyes.
